"A Journey towards higher fulfillment of theatre"

"All the World's a Stage," so spoke world's most performed Playwright William Shakespeare, the finest playwright humanity has ever produced. Theatre as a prominent art measure has always been a part of the world heritage. Be it our rich Indus Valley Civilization where the famous Dancing Girl Statues speak forth of the theatrical milieu, or the Greek Amphi Theatre where God and Myth were represented by actors.

Over a period of more than 20 years, we have established a niche presence in the performing arts for producing well-researched pieces of original and exciting theatre on themes of contemporary relevance. Our objective has been to dramatise subjects which are at the cutting edge of people's consciousness.
Our work focuses on the art of communication and the sharing of real life experiences. Our Theatre provides an interactive forum through which one can identify with others, deepen understanding and facilitate change.

Theatre is not merely about ACTING or PERFORMING, it is an extension of the grand celebration of our experiences, reactions, hopes and a pure contribution to the society.

Keeping these noble thoughts in mind, "Bhumika Rangmanch" was started by a team of young expressionists in the year 1988. Led by a team of trained professionals from National School of Drama (N.S.D.), who design plays on the pattern of a cultural exchange so that they become a lively interface for the audience that participates with reactions and thoughts. Bhumika Rangmanch has over a period of time, become the very bridge between the masses and the breathing art.

Among the many FIRSTS:

And on its completion Bhumika Rangmanch staged a play - Muavaze (Written by Sh. Bhishm Sahni & Directed by Sh. Gulshan Walia) outside the jail premises, in Kamani Auditorium at New Delhi. The Tihar Jail inmates acted and participated fearlessly and confidently. As "Bhumika Rangmanch" looks forward to the new millennium with a promise of expanding its horizons and spreading the message of social equality, it would be worthwhile to look back at some of our theatrical achievements since our ince
